CypCut system diagnosis

The upgrade begins with a protected backup and an audit of installed CypCut version, FSCUT hardware, license state, motion interfaces and process database. The goal is to identify a supported upgrade path without overwriting a working production configuration.

  • Archive controller parameters, nesting settings, process libraries and alarm history.
  • Identify FSCUT board generation, connected height control, drives and I/O modules.
  • Review license entitlement and compatibility of the target software and hardware.

Supported upgrade architecture

The retained CypCut installation is updated through a planned combination of supported FSCUT hardware, software, licensing and process data. Control settings are migrated through backups and verification rather than copied straight into a live production machine.

  • Define the approved target versions for CypCut, FSCUT hardware and related drivers.
  • Stage parameter and process-library migration using an offline backup set.
  • Replace unsupported interface boards or peripherals only where the audit requires it.

Commissioning and production acceptance

Commissioning proves that backed-up functions, nesting workflow, height control and machine safety behave correctly after the upgrade. Acceptance compares repeat parts against the pre-upgrade baseline and confirms the operator can recover the documented configuration.
